Battle-Standard Waffen sind ohne Latex gefertigt und können daher nicht von Latexkrebs befallen werden. Eine allgemeine Pflege mit Silikonöl wird trotzdem empfohlen, um den Schutzlack der Waffe lange intakt zu halten.

Achtung, bei Battle Standard Produkten kann es produktionsbedingt zu einem Loch an der Breitseite nahe der Spitze kommen. Dieses ist technisch notwendig um den Kernstab während dem Prozess des Ausschäumens zu stabilisieren. Zusätzlich kann es an anderen Stellen zu weiteren kleinen oberflächlichen Löchern kommen. Diese Löcher stellen keine Mängel dar und beeinträchtigen auch nicht die Sicherheit der Polsterwaffe.
